Why are we doing this?

Because we love to prepare and eat good, fresh food.

Because we care about the environment and want to avoid using fossil fuels to heat our greenhouse or transport food from elsewhere.

Because we think that everyone ought to know how to grow at least one thing.

Because eating food that we grew in the coldest cold of winter is unbelievably cool.
